NEW - 5/5/13 - Yanagisawa B901 (Vito V.S.P.) Baritone Saxophone - SALE PENDING - $3,899 This
is a "stencil" horn made by Yanagisawa for the Leblanc / Vito company.
While engraved as a Vito V.S.P., unlike most stencil instruments
this one actually has the Yanagisawa logo stamped on the back of the
instrument, on the neck brace and has "Yanagisawa" engraved in the
clothes guard. It even has the Yanagisawa model number - B901 -
stamped next to the serial number! This is a true Yanagisawa and
is a very, very fine instrument in excellent condition. There are
a few areas of worn lacquer in the expected spots and was well cared
for by its previous owner. If you are unfamiliar with Yanagisawa
instruments they are one of the world's premier manufacturers of
saxophones (that's all they do!) and each instrument is handmade in
their facility in Japan. Since Yanagisawa doesn't make any
"student" / entry level instruments, they are completely focused on
making the finest instruments available. The build quality is
superb and parts are easy to get as Yanagisawa is owned by Conn-Selmer.
Vintage 1973 Buffet R13 Clarinet - $3,199
Another
amazing vintage professional instrument is available through North
Georgia Band! This "Golden Era" 1973 Buffet R-13 has been
overhauled in our shop. It has nickel-silver keys that have
retained 100% of their finish and a fixed thumb rest. We
installed cork pads in the entire upper joint and premium Kraus/Pisoni
bladder pads in the lower joint. Key and tenon corks were
replaced with premium natural cork. There are absolutely no
chips, cracks or any other issues with this instrument. The keys
were not buffed so all angles and touchpieces are in original condition

rest with a Buffet adjustable thumb rest if you prefer as well as take
care of any other modifications you would like. It has been
play-tested by two extraordinary local clarinetists and has received
rave reviews! Includes a newer-style black leather-wrapped Buffet
case.

is the first Ridenour instrument that we have had for sale and we are
very impressed with it. When researching this instrument online
we were astounded by the amount of high praise placed on this
clarinet. Tom Ridenour has some fascinating philosophies about
acoustics and clarinet construction (be sure to read his article
entitled "The Grenadilla Myth").
This is a hard rubber instrument (NOT plastic, ABS or Bakelite as
found in most student clarinets) and compares nicely to a grenadilla
instrument (keep in mind that most pro-level clarinet mouthpieces are
made of hard rubber). While this instrument was manufactured
abroad all Ridenour clarinets are hand-assembled and finished by Tom
Ridenour himself in the U.S. The instrument is in superb
refurbished condition, the upper joint is padded with cork
pads and the price will allow you to own a professional level
instrument at the cost of a used Buffet E-11 or similar intermediate
clarinet. It includes a Ridenour hand-crafted mouthpiece and
Rovner 1R ligature. Take a moment to visit the manufacturer's
website: www.ridenourclarinetproducts.com Yamaha YFL-481 Flute - $849
Solid silver body and head, silver plated keys, inline G, low B,
gizmo, French-style case and case cover. The headjoint has been expertly
cut and modified by Keren Barr to allow for maximum response. This one
does have some slight flaws in the plating on a couple of the keys but it is
purely cosmetic. Otherwise the flute is in superb mechanical condition and someone is
going to get a GREAT deal on a GREAT flute!
Yamaha YFL-581 Flute WITH Straubinger Conversion - $2,499 Solid
silver body and head, silver plated keys with French-style pointed
arms, inline G, low B, gizmo, full Straubinger Conversion and custom
headjoint cut performed by Keren Barr. This flute is in FANTASTIC
condition and will be a perfect instrument for a college student /
aspriing professional. Don't confuse this instrument with the
current 500 series Yamahas that do not have a solid silver body - these
flutes are identical to the current-day Yamaha 684 flute.
M. Masson Thibouville Clarinet - $699 In
the early and middle 1900's there were literally hundreds of small
clarinet manufacturers that were trying to get a piece of Buffet's
corner on the market. While today we consider many of them to be
"one-offs" or "no-names", they were all trying hard to come up with
something better than the classic Buffet R-13. While many of
these companies didn't survive their legacies and innovation lives on
through clarinets like this one. It has been completely
overhauled and is a classic French clarinet without the name-brand
markup of a Buffet! Give it a try - we think you'll be impressed!
Getzen Capri Trumpet - $729 This
Capri is one of the very, very few instruments that I would classify as
"like new". It has absolutely no issues and is a great step-up
horn for the budding trumpet student or hobbyist adult. It's
silver plating is flawless and the valve action feels more like a pro
horn!
Bach 1530 Trumpet - $319 This

student/beginner horn. Skip the high cost of a rental or a new
horn and purchase this one instead! COMING SOON! Selmer Paris Series 9* (Star) Clarinet Conn Pan-Am Alto Saxophone Getzen 747 Eterna F Trombone
